During the Tattoo's finale they had a rather large fireworks display. Part of this was this streaming ember effect off the side of the castle which I just had to capture. I'm quite pleased with the outcome.

This year I finally got tickets to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The highlight for me was Top Secret Drum Corps from Basle, Switzerland. I'd seen them perform in the Tattoo on TV a few years ago and when I found out they were in the program I couldn't wait to get a shot of them.

On our drive from Onich to Inverness we passed a view-point which also had this war memorial. With the weather as it was it was visually striking and I just had to get a shot of it.

Whilst making our way from Loch Lomond to Onich we went through Glen Coe. Driving through what could be described as typical Scottish weather created a rather dramatic and awe-inspiring drive.
